"A lot of things make me horny," the star teased.
Jennifer Lopez raked in the cash by fleecing men in her movie "Hustlers", but the star didn't bring home the bacon to play the part.
During an interview with GQ -- who named her Icon of the Year -- the 50-year-old admitted she took the role of Ramona because of the interesting character, not because of the paycheck.
"I do things because I love them. I didn't get paid a whole bunch of money for Hustlers," she explained. "I did it for free and produced it. I bank on myself. That's the Jenny From the Block. I do what I want, I do what I love. But it was kind of a really different mindset to get into to play Ramona."
"Whether she was doing great things or bad things, she was very clear about what she wanted and what her goals were. And that she could do it on her own," Jennifer said of Ramona.
"One of the things I loved about Ramona was that she had her own set of morals and values. They were skewed, from being in this world for a long time. But I felt like Ramona was in many ways a good person. She was a good friend, and she was loyal. And she had boundaries."
Acknowledging some people won't believe she's not in the industry for the wealth, Jennifer went on to explain, "I've never been motivated by money, I've always been motivated by -- I wanna be a great actress, a great singer, a great dancer -- I wanna make movies, I wanna make music. And the money came along with that."
When asked if money makes her horny, Jennifer was quick to respond with a laugh, "A lot of things make me horny -- I don't think money is one of them. But I do like money! Money is an amazing thing! I don't know that it turns me on, but it does make things easier."
