"I went through a moment where I thought maybe it was cancer, and it was very scary for me," the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum tells TooFab.
Kim Richards revealed at BravoCon that she had recently experienced a "health scare" that threw her for a loop, but she told TooFab Thursday evening she "got the green light that it's all good."
The health scare, which the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum told us was related to her breasts and potential cancer, not only inspired her to strengthen her spirituality but also prompted her on-stage reconciliation with former co-star Lisa Rinna.
Camille Grammer Claims She's 'Targeted' on RHOBH Season 10, Vanderpump Discouraged Her Return (Exclusive)
View Story"We did cover some of it [on Season 10 of 'RHOBH'], so I don't wanna give too much away, but they biopsied some things [in my breasts]," Kim told us at the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation gala. "It was very scary for me. I went through a moment where I thought maybe it was cancer, and it was very scary for me, but I'm all good. Just yesterday I got the green light that it's all good!"
"It's been a long, long time that this has been going on that I thought..." she went on. "I got called back in for my mammogram twice, and then there were other things going on, but it's good now. I'm healthy and very, very blessed and grateful."
Following the scare, Kim said she took a step back from life to focus on herself -- physically, mentally and spiritually.
"I see life completely differently," she explained. "I see things differently, I feel things differently. So between the two, just walking out [at BravoCon] and being around all kinds of people again, that alone was an amazing experience for me. And us [Kim and Kyle Richards] being there with my sister [Kathy Hilton], the thing with Lisa [Rinna]... Seeing my sister come out, and when she walked by, her and I giving each other a hug in front of all the people. It was just fun."

View StoryDuring last week's massive "Watch What Happens Live" episode that was taped at the first-ever BravoCon, Andy Cohen announced after a commercial break that Kim had something she wanted to say. She took the mic and revealed to the crowd that Rinna's youngest daughter, Amelia Hamlin, was dating her daughter's husband's brother. "And so Lisa," Kim said at the time, "I decided since we could be family -- come on over here for a minute -- I would like to officially invite you to our holiday family Christmas party."
It was a moment Kim said no one -- not Andy, not Kyle -- saw coming.
"I went to Andy a few minutes before and I told him, 'I don't know if you know this, but Lisa's daughter is dating my son-in-law's brother. And we talked the other night, Lisa and I, and we realized that...'" Richards recalled, noting that there's "more to the story, which you'll see 'cause we filmed it. She came to me and told me something, and I was like, 'Lisa, do you understand? This is our karma for fighting! We could be like family! Our karma could be that we have to look at each other for the rest of our lives!' And we laughed so hard."
"I thought about it, and I talked to my sister Kathy, and I was like, 'You know what? I'm gonna invite her to the Christmas party. She could be family!'" Kim said. "And Kathy was like, 'I think that's great.' So I did. I always knew there was a good side to Lisa, there was something good in her heart, we just were having a beef! But it looks like things could work out in a good way, and hopefully it can and it will continue."
In terms of the lead-up to the truce, Kim told us, "You'll just have to watch the show because there was a moment -- I think you're gonna see the before part -- where we actually realized a little bit more about the kids dating."

View StoryBut Kim isn't the only one who's making amends with former foes. Not only are all three sisters getting along, but in recent months, Kyle and "RHOBH" alum Brandi Glanville have managed to squash their years-long beef. When we asked Kim if that made her life easier, she said it did but noted she's never been one to say who her friends can and can't befriend.
"There was a time when Kyle didn't like Brandi, and Brandi didn't like Kyle. I keep that separate," she told us. "I am supportive of both, and I don't think anybody would want me to not see another person. When I was having my problems with Lisa Rinna, I never once said to Kyle, 'Are you spending time with Lisa Rinna?' I would never do that. They have a friendship, so carry on! Go ahead!"
Though Kim says she's still close with Brandi, the two haven't seen each other in over a year. She told us she "needed to spend some time alone" while processing what was happening to her physically.
"I am close with Brandi, but I didn't see Brandi since her birthday last year," she said. "We talked, but I didn't really see her, but you don't always have to see people to have a close friendship. I talk to her a lot. I'm there to support her if she needs me."
"But I've been going through some things, writing a book," she went on. "Like, I needed to be by myself to grow spiritually. I've also been working energetically, and I really needed to spend some time alone to do that, and so I really just needed space. So that's what I've been doing."
