"Uncomfortable and it hurts and then you release the gas and you're all good."
Kelly Dodd said her former co-stars' exit from "Real Housewives of Orange County" was like taking a Gas-X.
During an interview with TooFab, the entrepreneur said she felt the utmost "relief" when she heard the news that Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge would not be returning to the long-running Bravo reality series.
"You know when you like have a fart and it really hurts and it gets in your stomach and gets in knots and then you release it and then it feels better? Kind of like that," the 44-year-old explained.

Vicki announced in January she was leaving the show after 14 seasons. A day later, Tamra followed suit after joining the cast in Season 3.
Kelly said she doesn't have a relationship with the two ladies outside of the show, so there's no hard feelings.
"I wish them the best. I hope that they have a great life," she said. "They don't run in my circles, where like Shannon does. Shannon and I have the same friends," she explained of co-star Shannon Beador. "She lives in the same neighborhood as I. Same as Braunwyn," referring to co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
As to how she would feel if they ever came back to the program, Kelly said, "It doesn't bother me. I don't care one way or another."
Meanwhile, Kelly has been hot on the promotion trail to showcase her latest philanthropic venture through her Positive Beverage company called October 365.
With the launch of Positive Beverage's new flavor, Prickly Pear Lemonade, Kelly and co-founder Zach Muchinick will be making a $20,000 donation to breast cancer research. The company will also be donating a portion of the proceeds for each Prickly Pear Lemonade sold in hopes to bring awareness to breast cancer throughout the entire year, not just during the month of October.
Vicki Gunvalson Says Lawsuit Dismissed: 'Take That, Kelly Dodd!'
View Story"A lot of companies jump on the bandwagon and only support charities one month out of the year," Zach explained to TooFab. "So we were sitting there and coined the phrase October 365. Why don't we launch this product and break the mold. We hope it adjusts and changes the way people view philanthropy."
The cause is close to both founders, as Zach said he lost his grandmother to breast cancer and Kelly said three of her closest friends have all been diagnosed.
"I don't have it in my family, however I do have breasts, so, ya know, it could affect me," she said.
Kelly detailed how Positive Beverage went through several different iterations -- taking a full two years to get to production -- before landing on the perfect recipe and packaging.

Braunwyn and husband Sean Burke have been especially supportive of the drink company, as Kelly said they keep it stocked in their house and rave about it on social media whenever they can.
"Not one person has said anything negative about it," Kelly said about her "RHOC" co-stars. "Not anything negative, which is shocking."
And it sounds like even her new castmates for the upcoming season will have her back with the business venture, as she told TooFab, "We have real relationships. We are real friends."

But don't expect it to be all sunshine and roses though, as Kelly did dish on what to expect in the drama department.
"Oh yea, its already coming up with a bang."
