"Friday Night Lights" star Taylor Kitsch is trading in his jockstrap for a loincloth.
In the upcoming sci-fi flick "John Carter," the brooding hunk plays a Civil War veteran transported to an alien planet, where he helps an alien race battle for their freedom.
In the new trailer, out today, Kitsch battles giant alien creatures and invaders. The arena battle is a little reminiscent of "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones," but Hayden Christensen never stripped down to his skivvies.
