Rumors have swirled for some time that Alec Baldwin was preparing to depart from his sitcom "30 Rock." Did the actor just confirm the news?
The 54-year-old has had a crazy week. On Sunday, Alec's alleged stalker was arrested in New York. As a result, camera crews have stationed themselves outside his pad, leaving Mr. Bladwin a little more than irritated.
Alec took to his Twitter on Wednesday to voice his displeasure -- particularly with his own network:
"Outside my apt today, along side the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the 'Today Show.'" He continued, "The television crew camped outside my apt said they were with the 'Today Show.' #howthemightyhavefallen"
His ran went on, "I haven't appeared on the 'Today Show' in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt? A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the 'Today Show?'"
Alec noted, "No one from NBC contacted me until the 'Today Show' arrived at my apt," then dropped what could be the big bomb, adding:
I think I'm leaving NBC just in time.
@alecbaldwin
No further word yet from Alec, his reps, Tina Fey or NBC, though that sure seems like confirmation to us.
