Jennifer Lawrence Opens Up About Her 'One-Sided Friendship' with the Kardashians

"It's probably a one-sided friendship," JLaw told The Wing on Friday in NYC. "I don't know that she'd call me a friend," she said in regards to Kim Kardashian, the leader of the family.

"I went over and I met the family when I found out I was going to be interviewing her," Lawrence said, referring to the time she filled in hosting Jimmy Kimmel's show last November. "I wanted to get as much information that I could and I wanted to know the questions to ask. I wanted to really do my due diligence on Kim Kardashian. So I went over to Kris' house and I had dinner with the whole family"

If we learned anything from Kim's color-coded list of friends and haters who received her Valentine's grams, it's that the "Red Sparrow" star's name was not on a dreaded teal Post-it note. Her name fell into the purple list, among the likes of Kylie Jenner, Kim's own half-sister, Chrissy Teigen and longtime pal Paris Hilton.

Whether the relationship is one-sided or not is up for debate, but Lawrence had nothing but nice things to say about the family. "They are smart, they are grounded, they are normal and funny. They're very nice people with a very close normal bond, which is a positive thing to put out in the world. They've been positively lovely to me."
