Though he was voted for elimination -- Big Mike lives to see another week on "American Idol."
Michael Lynche and Andrew Garcia wound up in the bottom two after Tuesday night's Beatles episode -- but it was Mike who had the lowest number of votes.
After singing for his life -- performing "This Woman's Work" -- the judges came to a "unanimous" decision to keep Lynche around a little longer ... and used their save.
Only one person will be spared a season.
