James Van Der Beek's girlfriend is about to have a baby -- and he just broke the news via Twitter.
The "Dawson's Creek"-turned-"Mercy" star just tweeed "Yes, it's true - the woman I love and I are expecting our first child... currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed."
Van Der Beek and GF Kimberly Brook started dating last June.
This is their first child.
