Shakira met with earthquake survivors in Haiti on Sunday -- and picked a spot to build a school for children in the devastated country.
According to MTV, the singer landed in Port-au-Prince yesterday and met with 100 kids at the site of her planned "Barefoot" school.
Shakira's Barefoot Foundation -- which has already built a school in Colombia -- was set up to ensure "every child can exercise his or her basic right to a quality education."
MTV also reports Shakira also met with Sean Penn while in Haiti.
