Rapper Guru of the hip-hop duo Gang Starr passed away last night after an ongoing fight with cancer.
Though the two had a falling out, the news was posted on former partner DJ Premiere's blog site this morning -- along with a letter allegedly written by Guru before his passing.
Guru was 48 and is survived by his son, KC.
