Alec Baldwin gave the commencement address at NYU's graduation ceremony today -- and it wasn't anything like what you'd expect from the guy who plays Jack Donaghy on "30 Rock."
The actor -- an NYU alum himself -- ditched the wry humor you see on TV for more heartfelt advice to the new grads, telling 'em "Share the best of who you are with the next generation."
According to the NY Daily News, Baldwin also urged the graduates to commit to their families, fulfillment of their dreams and bettering society.
Not exactly the words of a fictional cutthroat NBC exec, right?
