Fantasia Barrino made her first public appearance today since her suicide attempt earlier this month -- where she appeared happy and ready to put that traumatic experience behind her.
Barrino was beaming when she appeared on "Good Morning America" -- and told Robin Roberts "I'm just going to go back to that young lady I was on the 'Idol' that people fell in love with. I'm back to me."
Barrino's "Behind the Music" airs tonight on VH1. Her new album drops today.
