Last night's debut of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has everyone talking and everyone has an opinion -- including "The Real Housewives of New York's" Jill Zarin, who spoke exclusively with TooFab on Friday.
“I think it's going to be a really good show,” Jill, who returned this from a whirlwind tour of Australia, said. “I thought these women would be phony, fake and a fraud, but instead they are real, authentic and genuine. And they're glamorous!”
She added, “My first impression was that I really liked it, and I didn't have that impression with 'The Real Housewives of D.C.' What I really liked about Beverly Hills was that it was real. I loved the Richards sisters [Kim and Kyle]; I felt like they are real. I get that the older sister [Kim] was really famous when she was little, and sort of cocooned herself. And I love that they're friends.”
Jill, author of the New York Times bestseller, "Secrets Of A Jewish Mother", adds, “As for Camille Grammer, I'm impressed that she let the viewer know right away that her marriage [with ex husband Kelsey Grammer] was in trouble. Look at her: You see her looking gorgeous, kissing her husband goodbye. She was so loyal, I loved how she told the audience that she was there for him.”
Jill had mixed feelings about Taylor Armstrong. “I thought she has too many lip injections, it looks like she has double lips,” Jill jokingly said, laughing. “But I was also impressed that she's willing to share with America her marriage problems [with venture capitalist Russell Armstrong].
But who has the potential to be Jill's new BFF? “My favorite character is Adrienne Maloof-Nassif. I could see being friends with her the most.”
Jill, who's shooting the upcoming fourth season of "The Real Housewives of New York," says she's psyched to see the show's upcoming episodes. “I loved it. I'm looking forward to see the season unfold. And I wish them the best of luck."
