Katy Perry & Russell Brand are husband and wife!
The couple wed at the Aman-i-Khas resort in India.
A rep tells TooFab "Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23."
The statement adds, "The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples' closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family [Katy's family]. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."
The sounds of Indian instruments, sacred chanting and cheers were heard inside the resort, according to PEOPLE.
Brand, 35, proposed to Perry, 25, last December at the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan.
The two met on the set of the movie "Get Him to the Greek," in which Perry had a cameo that didn't make the final cut.
