Jim Carrey is back to his Ace Ventura ways -- and is getting really close to some wild animals in the new flick "Mr. Popper's Penguins."
The first trailer for the film, based on the popular 1938 children's book, just dropped today -- showing Carrey's character unwittingly housing a bunch of penguins in his New York apartment.
The movie co-stars Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury and opens June 17.
