Taylor Swift is the latest star to root for the underdog with her new music video for "Mean," a song reportedly written in response to harsh critics.
With lyrics like "Someday, I'll be living in a big old city, and all you're ever gonna be is mean," the video shows one fashion-loving boy and another teen with an embarrassing job being bullied -- but getting the last word at the end.
The video also shows Swift herself going from country roots to getting a starring moment on Broadway, blasting critics with more lyrics like "All you are is mean. And a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life."
The song is the third single from her "Speak Now" album -- following "Mine" and "Back to December." Her song "The Story Of Us" also just started getting airplay.
