It wasn't looking good for Lauren Alaina leading up to the finale last night on "American Idol," when she was almost sidelined after losing her voice.
Even though Haley Reinhart was waiting in the wings to take Lauren's place, the 17-year-old took the stage after receiving medical treatment.
After performing Carrie Underwood's "Flat on the Floor" and Pam Tillis' "Maybe It Was Memphis," Lauren sang what will become her single if she wins, "Like My Mother Does." Watch that performance below:
Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez loved the performance -- J.Lo saying "with that song, you may have just won."
Scotty McCreery also sang three songs last night, performing Montgomery Gentry's "Gone," George Strait's "Check Yes or No" and his to-be single "I Love You This Big."
