In the new comedy "Larry Crowne," opening today, Tom Hanks plays a man who loses his job and decides to return to school, where he gets hot for teacher Julia Roberts.
Some actors have made similar life choices. James Franco enrolled at UCLA in 2006 after he becoming dissatisfied with he acting career (this was before his award-winning turns in "Milk" and "127 Hours"). He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2008, his Master's from Columbia in 2010, and is working on his PhD at Yale.
