Many know Jayde Nicole as the 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year and her various stints on reality television. But what they may not know is that the 25-year-old is also a certified personal trainer and nutritionist with her own website dedicated to fitness. She also has a healthy cookbook coming out for the holidays.

TooFab: What inspired you to create your fitness website?
Nicole: I've always been really interested in nutrition and fitness. As I got older, I started having a lot of friends and family and fans and people on Twitter constantly asking me what to do to workout and how to eat. It's hard to kind of get into that in 140 characters (laughs) because obviously there's a lot more to it. So I've kind of been toying with the idea for a couple of years now doing it until I finally got all the right pieces together. Now when people ask me, I can just tell them to go there and it makes them a full custom nutrition and fitness program.
TooFab: Tell us top 5 summer tips for a hot summer bod?
Nicole: Drink lots of green tea and lots of water. The first thing I always tell people is to cut out any type of calories that they drink -- so no more pop, no more juice, no more anything that has calories in it. For liquid, just have water and green tea and stick to that and it makes a huge difference.
A big thing for summer, everyone wants to be tanned of course and if you are bronzed you look a bit fit and tight and toned. I used “tan towels” because obviously the sun is not good for your skin. Tan towels always give you a nice glow and make you look like you are in better shape than you already are (laughs).
There's a lot of workout moves that are really good for summer. Focusing a lot on abs and legs and just always moving. I always do lunges when I'm walking around cause you don't need to go to the gym and you don't need any equipment. You can kind of just do that and it gives you a bit of a butt lift for your bikini.
Definitely get in the extra cardio! Cardio is very important for summer to drop pounds and burn the extra calories!
Also another big thing, which ties in with the first one but because you know, it's summer and people are always going to pool parties and barbecues and that kind of stuff, is just to watch, obviously to watch what you eat
It's so easy to make substitutions. Instead of taco salad, eat regular salad and when having a burger, skip the bun. If there's margaritas available, don't drink them! When people consume alcohol it is a big deterrent to dropping weight. In summer people always make the drinks that are like 500 calories per drink, they're fruity and full of sugar and people are always like,“It's fruity! It's fine!” But those are terrible for you so I always tell people to avoid that.
TooFab: What's your day to day fitness regime?
It's always different, just like everyone. When my schedule gets hectic, I will break up my workouts throughout the day. So if I have 5-10 minutes in the morning before I leave, I'll do a quick little butt and abs set at my house. And if I have another 15 minutes I'll go and do a quick jog or take my dog for a walk. I try to get in at least one hour of exercise a day, at least five days a week. Sometimes I get to actually hit it hard for an hour or go to the Canyon and I'll do the jog up canyon and then walk down for an hour. It's always different but I try to aim for about an hour a day.
TooFab: Do you have a cheat day?
Nicole: I do. I don't have a set day when I cheat. I kind of just pick it, stuff comes up like people have birthday parties -- I had one last night. I just pick and chose my cheat days whenever I need them. Just make up for it -- the next day or the next two or three days you just go a little extra hard and it totally evens itself out!
TooFab: What is your biggest weakness?
Nicole: Chocolate. Chocolate and frozen yogurt!
TooFab: What do you think makes someone sexy?
Nicole: Confidence. It sounds so cliché but it's so true. I run a modeling agency and I have a lot of girlfriends that are absolutely drop-dead gorgeous and when you walk into a room and you know, you have your chin up high, you walk with confidence and people are naturally attracted to you.
You could be that beautiful girl but have bad posture, and be slugged over and timid and quiet. No one is attracted to that, people are like, “Is she okay?” (giggles). People forget people like that, but if you walk in and you're confident then definitely people pay attention!
