"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong, 39 is filing for divorce from her husband Russell, 47, citing irreconcilable differences, a source familiar with the situation tells TMZ.
The reality TV star will ask for joint legal and primary physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy Armstrong.
She is also asking for spousal and child support. The Armstrongs do not have a prenup.
The couple butted heads often on the Bravo reality show. In a blog post on the Bravo website in February, Taylor said watching her marital issues unfold was a "wake-up call" and that she was going to work on her marriage:
"Russell and I are working on our communication and spending more time together… without our Blackberrys," she wrote. "This experience allowed us to see that we needed to refocus our attention on our marriage and work on being there for one another. We are spending more quality time together having just returned from two weekend getaways and we will be heading to the Superbowl this weekend. The show gave us a wakeup call and for that, we are thankful."
Her fellow "Housewives" costar, Camille Grammar, finalized her divorce from Kelsey Grammar earlier this year.
