Katy Perry Dominates the 2011 MTV VMA Nominations

The "Caifornia Gurl" racked up nine nominations for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards -- more than any other singer nominated this year!

She's up for Video of the Year, Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography, Best Female Video, Best Art Direction and Best Editing.

Following close behind Katy are Adele and Kanye West, who both scored seven noms. Bruno Mars followed with four.

Surprisingly, Britney Spears only got two nominations for "Till the World Ends," while Beyonce and Lady Gaga only scored three each.
