Anyone who hit Huntington Beach yesterday was treated to an odd sight: A bunch of dogs surfing the waves!
The annual Surf City Surf Dog competition went down Sunday afternoon, where 20-something pooched hit the ocean and tried to surf back to shore.
Dogs were given 30-40 minutes each to "show off their skills," according to the Los Angeles Times -- and pooches who made it to shore standing on all fours, as opposed to laying down, were given more points.
