Maksim Chmerkovskiy is taking serious flack after unloading on the judges last night on "Dancing with the Stars" -- but one of his co-stars has got his back!
toofab caught Tony Dovolani out at Madeo in L.A. after taping last night's episode, where he rallied behind the outspoken Ukrainian.
"As dancers we always have to be able to stand up for ourselves and Maks stood up for his partner," said Tony, who couldn't resist a jab at the show too by adding "It's a very one-sided talk show."
Dovolani also says "a lot of times people just want us to shut up and dance but every once and a while we put our heart into it and we feel passionate about something and voice our opinion."
Sounds like those professional dancers really stick together!
