Good news for Jimmy Kimmel!
The talk show host scored an invite to next year's White House Correspondents' Dinner -- and not only is he going to attend the swanky event ... he's hosting it!
Kimmel confirmed his role in the prestigious eveningl -- saying, "I look forward to being a part of the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. I love dinner."
Jimmy isn't the first late night talk show host to take on the dinner -- Jay Leno and Craig Ferguson have both hosted the event in the past.
The proceeds from the annual political bash go towards scholarships and awards for aspiring journalists.
