Looks like "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" are officially over.
The canceled daytime soaps were slated to continue their stories on the internet -- but the deal just fell through.
"After five months of negotiations with various guilds, hundreds of presentations to potential financial and technology partners, and a hope that we could pioneer a new network for the future, it is with great disappointment that we are suspending our aspirations to revive “One Life to Live” and “All My Children” via online distribution," says a statement released by Prospect Park -- who licensed the shows for use on the internet back in July.
The statement cites "mounting issues [that] make our ability to meet our deadlines ... impossible" as the reason for the cancellation.
