The British Fashion Awards 2011 were held in London last night, and brought out some of the biggest names in the business.
Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton (who designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress) nabbed the designer of the year award. Victoria Beckham, clad in a halter gown from her own collection, was presented the designer brand of the year award by Marc Jacobs. The normally stoic Victoria got teary-eyed while accepting her award, thanking her family and husband. "Without David I wouldn't have had the courage to do what I am doing,” she said.
Posh's black gown was tame compared to Kate Moss' mesh dress. Fellow attendee Kate Hudson (on hand to support Stella McCartney) also wore a dress with mesh detail. Click on the "Launch Gallery" button to see all the delightful fashions below!
