Nominations for the 84th Academy Awards were announced by previous Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence and Academy President Tom Sherak Tuesday morning in Beverly Hills.
"The Artist," "The Descendants" and "The Help" all garnered multiple nominations -- and while "Bridesmaids" didn't make the cut for Best Picture, it was nominated for Best Original Screenplay. Melissa McCarthy also nabbed a Best Supporting Actress nom.
