The Grammys paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a simple but stirring performance at the end of the In Memoriam segment.
Jennifer Hudson took the stage at the end of the montage to sing Whitney's most famous ballad, "I Will Always Love You."
At one point during her performance, Jennifer appeared to pause to compose herself. According to Us Weekly, she was very emotional during Sunday morning's rehearsals and had to restart several times.
Watch her touching tribute, below:
Chaka Khan was expected to join Jennifer in the tribute, but pulled out because she didn't feel the time was right. "As I grieve the loss of my friend and 'little sister,' I don't feel it appropriate to perform at this time. Continue to pray for the family,” Chaka released in a statement.
