Looks like there's some good news at the end of a bad week for Alec Baldwin, the actor, 53, just tied the knot with Hilaria Thomas, 28, at the historic St. Patrick's Old Cathedral.
The groom was in much better spirits than earlier this week, when he assaulted a paparazzo for the second time this month!
The groom wore a suit by Tom Ford, while the bride wore a silk Amsale gown.
Among the guests at the star-studded event: Alec's brother Stephen, his "30 Rock" costar Tina Fey, Mariska Hargitay and Woody Allen.
The New York Post reported that the wedding plans were kept under wraps from guests (even their family), specifically details of the reception (held at the Kimmel Center) and guests were notified of the wedding info via text.
The couple met last year while dining with friends at Pure Food and Wine. As of now, there's no talk of a honeymoon taking place in the near future.
Alec and Hilaria had a traditional Catholic wedding, and the two underwent serious pre-marital counseling aka Pre-Cana (a Catholic custom) before saying “I do” according to the Post.
Hopefully the second time is the charm for Baldwin, who had a nasty split from Kim Basinger in 2002. But according to the Catholic Church if the nuptials were not held in a church, then the marriage isn't legitimate (they wed on East Hampton Beach).
Reporters caught up with Alec's daughter, Ireland, and asked what kind of cake they will be having at the wedding, she replied "it's all organic" which was Hilaria's idea.
Congrats Alec and Hilaria!
