Mariah Carey is enjoying her summer downtime before "American Idol" starts gearing up.
The 42-year-old superstar shared a relaxing photo on her Twitter yesterday, showing herself in a bikini laying in the pool with daughter Monroe.
"As per your request, me & ms. Monroe on a lazy day: )" she tweeted along with the adorable photo.
Mimi's body looks good in her two-piece and white coverup.
Earlier this year, the singer revealed how she lost 30lbs. in three months thanks to Jenny Craig.
"I used to be able to slim down just by exercising more, but that's changed," she said at the time. "Since having the babies, I realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet.”
