"Sex and the City" star Kim Cattrall turns 56 today. But before "SATC," there was "ST" -- "Star Trek!"
Who would've guessed the actress behind sex-crazed Samantha Jones once played an emotionless Vulcan? Back in 1991, Kim donned prosthetic ears to portray Valeris in "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country."
Kim isn't the only big name who starred in that film: Christopher Plummer, Iman and Kurtwood Smith also had roles. In fact, many celebrities have appeared in "Star Trek" shows and films over the franchise's 45+ year history, some of whom would surprise you.
