"The Green Mile" star Michael Clarke Duncan passed away earlier today at the age of 54.
The actor, who garnered both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for his role as John Coffey in the 1999 film, reportedly passed suddenly this morning in a Los Angeles hospital room.
According to TMZ, his fiancee Omarosa Manigault had been with him at an Los Angeles, but left for an engagement. Soon after she left, Duncan died.
A rep for the actor also tells TMZ Duncan never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13.
The rep adds, "[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."
