They say no publicity is bad publicity, and after many production problems and critical lashings, surely audiences turned up in droves to watch the trainwreck that was "Liz & Dick," right? Nope.
Lifetime released the ratings for the Lindsay Lohan-as-Elizabeth Taylor flick, and they are not what the cable channel was hoping they'd be.
The made-for-TV movie brought in 3.5 million viewers, making it only the fourth most-watched original movie of the year -- behind such offerings as a "Steel Magnolias" remake, "Drew Peterson: Untouchable," and "Abducted: The Carlina White Story." Ouch!
