Matt Dallas continued the trend of quietly coming out ... by announcing he's gay with a simple tweet.
The 30-year-old "Kyle XY" star took to Twitter to announce he's engaged to musician Blue Hamilton, the first time he's acknowledged he's gay in public.
"Starting off the year with a new fiancé, @bluehamilton. A great way to kick off 2013," he posted along with a photo of his man and the couple's cute dog.
And Dallas' fans are thrilled.
"If this tweet means what i think it means...i'm ecstatic! and super proud to be a fan," wrote one.
"So proud and happy for you both! Congratulations, love & blessings for a long life together," posted another.
