It was a Top 4 redux on "American Idol" Wednesday night, with Angie Miller, Amber Holcomb, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison taking the stage for a second week in a row.
And while the finalists got a pass last week due to a scheduling change, one is going home Thursday night.
Hopefully, it won't be Candice, who was the sole standout of the evening. She delivered two stellar performances, beginning with a cover of Bruno Mars' "If I Were Your Man." Despite being warned by guest mentor Harry Connick Jr. to change the gender in the lyrics, she stayed true to the original.

For her second performance, Candice delivered a sensitive and sophisticated version of "You've Changed." The title was somewhat ironic, since Candice has been solidly consistent all season long.
Whether it was nerves, the pressure of the competition, or the lack of energy in the building, the other three fell a little flat.
This week's votes will be combined with last week's, with the lowest earner going home. Unfortunately, I think that will be Amber, despite her heavy pimping by the judges. She has an incredible voice, but the pressure has clearly overwhelmed her. I actually thought her previous rendition of "My Funny Valentine" was better than Wednesday's, despite the judges' gushing.
Angie has been bulletproof all season, and has yet to be in the bottom group. And Kree sang well enough and has the country backing to carry her into the top 3. Singing a song by former winner Carrie Underwood certainly bolstered her fanbase.
