Helen Mirren is one classy lady ... except when it comes to her favorite footwear!
On Thursday, the 67-year-old attended the "Red 2" premiere in Los Angeles where she showed off her elegant style in an emerald Ellie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 gown ... and sported her infamous clear high heels.
The British actress has been a fan of the "stripper heel" long before the likes of Courtney Stodden and Shauna Sand.
In an interview with Women and Home magazine, the "Calendar Girls" star admitted that her clear high heels are her "secret weapon."
"I used to be only able to get them in stripper shops, but now you can buy them everywhere -- although, unfortunately, that means everyone else has discovered the trick too," she explained.
Don't worry Helen, only stars like Courtney, Shauna and Taylor Momsen have caught on ... so far.
While we're not fans of the see-through footwear, we gotta give props to Mirren for rocking such an edgy look.
