Kris Allen is a dad!
On Tuesday, the season eight winner of "American Idol" welcomed a son, Oliver, with wife Katy O'Connell. This is the first child for the pair, who have been together since high school and tied the knot in 2008.
The proud papa tweeted his excitement from the hospital, "Happy Day!!!! My little stud was born today. Oliver is here people!," he posted Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old also shared a picture of him in the delivery room, writing "My outfit for the day.The best outfit ill ever where [sic] #bestdayofmylife."
Kris' rep told Us Weekly that the couple's baby boy, Oliver Neil Allen, weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured just over 20 inches long.
At the SXSW Festival in Austin earlier this year, Kris revealed how he's always wanted to be a dad -- and we couldn't be more excited for the happy couple!
