With Elizabeth Berkley officially joining the cast of "Dancing with the Stars," we were immediately reminded of the last time we saw her dance.
Of course, we're talking about "Showgirls," that amazing flick from 1995 where innocent Jessie Spano from "Saved by the Bell" hit the pole, went full frontal and had one of the most awkward sex scenes ever filmed.
The movie came out 18 years ago this month and went on to sweep the Razzie Awards, with director Paul Verhoeven being the first person to ever pick up their trophy in person.
Sure, "Showgirls" was a bomb but it went on to become a cult classic, something Berkley is proud of.
"I LOVE that you love it. It makes me happy that people have embraced it for the fun and campiness factor," she said in a 2011 interview. "Who knew that it would end up being a cult hit and one of MGM's top grossing videos of all time. "
