Ben Affleck is very aware you don't want him to play Batman.
The actor made his first public appearance since it was announced he'll play Bruce Wayne in the upcoming "Man of Steel" sequel on last night's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
And yes, he's seen the Internet backlash to the casting ... but knew it was coming.
"They [Warner Bros.] said we want to show you some of the reactions of past cast members have gotten," Affleck revealed. "People who were in these movies who did a great job and people were like 'KILL HIM.'"
He says the studio warned him to stay offline after the story broke, but Ben didn't listen.
"I was like, I'm a big boy ... I handle s**t. I'm very tough," he said.
So ... how'd it go? Check out the clip above!
