Billy Ray Cyrus is taking notes from his daughter Miley Cyrus -- he's experimenting with his image!
The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer shared the stage with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst on Thursday for a live performance of Billy Ray's "Lately" on "The Arsenio Hall Show."
We haven't seen Billy Ray perform live in a while ... and the fact that he's collaborating with Durst now just seems strange.

While the idea of the musicians collaborating together doesn't sit quite right with us, they actually sound pretty great together.
