Va-va-voom! Miranda Lambert is looking better than ever!
The country starlet flaunted her fit figure at the 61st annual BMI Country Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday night. The 29-year-old rocked a tight Black Halo Eve's LBD with a plunging beaded neckline and jeweled stilettos on the red carpet.
Mrs. Blake Shelton has been at the mercy of media scrutiny involving her sometimes fluctuating weight, but she doesn't let the pressure to be thin affect her confidence.
“I don't care about being stick-thin. I don't want stuff to jiggle. Really skinny actresses make me hungry,” Lambert told SELF Magazine back in 2012. “I see them and think, Honey, you need to eat! I'm lucky I don't have to live like that. I feel my best when I'm a toned, not flabby, size 8. Women come up to me and say, 'You're beautiful and confident,' and that makes me feel I can be, too.”
When looking at old pictures of herself, the blonde beauty asked her husband for answers about her body. “I asked Blake, 'Dude, why didn't you tell me I got fat?'” she explained. “He said, 'That would go over like a lead balloon. It's not my job to tell you you're fat. It's my job to tell you're beautiful.'”
While Miranda admits that she does what she can to stay in shape, she lets herself splurge on the things that she loves. She told the mag, "I won't give up what I enjoy to look perfect. I want to find a happy medium between feeling good about my body and still having a beer and some barbecue.”
We love her confidence!
Not only is the "Mama's Broken Heart" songstress looking slim and trim, but she's at the top of her country music game. She was nominated for five CMA Awards this year, and we can't wait to see her hit the red carpet at the 47th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night.
