Warning: If you haven't watched Season 4 of "The Walking Dead" yet, you might want to avoid the video above ... and the rest of this article.
With "The Walking Dead" returning on October 12, we have so many unanswered questions from last season -- but good luck getting answers out of the show's cast!
Are the people of Terminus cannibals? When's the first big death? Will there be any new hookups? These are just a few of the things toofab's Brian Particelli tried to squeeze out of series' star Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese) when he stopped by our studio earlier this week.
Key word: Tried.
The easy-going actor, also known for his work on "The Wire," couldn't have been easier to talk to ... or tougher to get a straight answer from!
But, considering the series has so much potential for spoilers, it's no surprise that the brass at AMC have taught its actors to play it coy.
"When we crank up, we have that meeting with the PR and it's like 'Listen, you can't do tweets, no Facebook, Instagram, nothing can happen on set. 'Sign this, don't do this, don't do that' ... all that's going on," Coleman says of the shroud of secrecy.
"But the next thing you know, somebody has a high powered camera, trying to destroy the beauty" he adds, referencing both the paparazzi and iPhone-happy fans.
By sometimes straying from the show's comic book source material, the zombie-packed program manages to surprise both show and comic fans on a weekly basis -- something that spoilers can, well, spoil.
"It has happened, which is a little unfortunate," says Chad. "We want you to have the most amazing experience you can have and spoilers just don't really allow that."
One incredibly shocking moment we didn't see coming was the death of a major character last season -- and it's a cast member Coleman says he'll miss having around.
"Scott Wilson. I got choked up, that's just how I feel about the man as a human being and as an actor," he says of the late Herschel Greene. "That one just really hit me man."
Coleman says the stars usually get a couple episodes' notice before getting axed -- but the show-runners are still "trying to work the kinks out."
As for who's going to say so long this year, Chad isn't talking.
Check out the video above to see what he said about his pregnant costar Sonequa Martin-Green, his character's collection of beanies and the one moment he can't wait for fans to see when the show returns.
