Jennifer Lawrence definitely doesn't have a future in music!
The "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" star is the first to admit it that she has a "tone-deaf Amy Winehouse voice," and she showed off her terrible singing skills on the "Late Show With David Letterman" on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old actress admitted she hated singing "The Hanging Tree" in the movie -- saying the title of the song is "where I felt like going that morning!"
"I do not like singing in front of other people, that's like my biggest fear," she told Letterman. "I cried on set that day. I'm scarred from my childhood."
"I have a Southern mother that used to tell me I was amazing at everything and I could do everything, but I can't," she explained.
When she had to sing "have a holly jolly Christmas," it was a disaster! "My dad laughed for the entire week! I'd hear him around the house, imitating me. I hate it, I hate it!"
J.Law's actual voice made the final cut in "Mockingjay," although she says she's yet to hear the results herself. "I was like, will you guys please get Lorde and lip-sync it?" she joked.
Despite her fears of singing in public, J.Law agreed to belt out a duet with the late night host ... and it wasn't pretty.
