Chris "CT" Tamburello's says his fans have been helping him get through "the hardest time" of his life.
"The Challenge" star dated Diem Brown on-and-off for years -- and Brown tragically lost her life to cancer last Friday.
After breaking his silence about her death earlier this week, CT took to Instagram on Thursday to thank everyone for the outpouring love and support he's received.
Posing with his family in the candid photo with yellow flowers in his hand, CT shared a sweet message with all of his fans.
"Hello everyone, My family, and I, want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and kind words you all have shown me during the hardest time of my life. I honestly did not expect to receive so much support. I am going to take some time for myself. And before I go, I thought it was appropriate to let everyone know that you are all appreciated. Thank you so very much!," he posted with the photo.
Diem's funeral was held on Tuesday in NYC and was reportedly attended by Evan Starkman, Kenny Santucci, Mark Long, Johanna Botta, Ace Amerson, Paula Meronek, KellyAnne Judd, Ruthie Alcaide, Aneesa Ferriera, Laurel Stuckey, Cara Maria Sorbello, and Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio.
Carrie Ainsworth, one of Brown's closest friends, just shared the video shown at her memorial online. It's a real tear-jerker. "We'll always remember her fun spirit, her infectious smile, her love, her inspiration, how she dances through life and lived it to the fullest. We love you," a message in the video reads.
While Diem and CT were not dating or engaged before her death, he did visit her in the final days of her life.
The MTV star also shared some very sweet words about Brown on Instagram earlier this week.
"You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We've been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other," he says.
"Our plan to be together forever hasn't changed... it's just going to take a little longer now," his statement continues. "And I'm going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don't worry mama, I'm not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever."
Brown's family members have asked friends and fans to donate to MedGift.
