Short hair, don't care!
Country star Jake Owen just did the unthinkable -- he cut off his signature long locks, for real!
The extreme makeover came out of nowhere on Thursday, with the singer posting a photo of his hair all over the ground and the caption "And they said I wouldn't."
He followed that up with a tweet saying "My 18 yr old nephew @owenbailey90 just text me and said he doesn't even remember me with short hair.... Well... #weallwantwhatweaintgot."
Two hours later came the big reveal, posting a photo of him sporting shades and his shocking new 'do while in the car. The caption: "High and tight."
While some of his fans were definitely surprised by the drastic change, they also seem to approve -- with comments on the pic ranging from "You look like Nicholas Cage" to "Wowww!"
At least we think that Nic Cage one was meant to be a compliment.
