The "Style" singer took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the news and to share a sweet snapshot of herself rubbing Jaime King's bare baby bump.
"Guess who just got named Godmother of this little one..... (ME)," she captioned the cute candid, where the expecting star is putting her belly on display.
The "Hart of Dixie" actress also announced Taylor's new role, writing, "And @taylorswift will forever be looking over our new baby @kyle_newman -we all love you!!!! Xx."
King and husband Kyle Newman already have one son, James Knight. The 16-month-old also has a set of celebrity godparents ... Jessica Alba and Topher Grace!
In fact, Jaime reached out to Alba to get advice on motherhood. "It was really just watching her over the years, the balance that she creates," she told E! last year. "She had kids before anyone in our group of friends did and I thought after having a baby, how much courage that takes and how much information you need to know."
"It's just so great knowing I have someone that is like a sister that did so much for women and families," she added.
Like Alba, King sees Swift as a great role model for her children. "Taylor is just one of my closest, closest friends—one of my dear, dear friends. We just met and instantly had a connection," she said. "She is also another woman that I feel is one of the most authentic women we have in this industry that other women look up to."
