Even Kim Kardashian knows that her selfie obsession is over-the-top -- and we haven't even seen her selfie book yet!
"So many people think that taking selfies is just ridiculous. For me, what's so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media just for memories," she reveals in AdWeek's Mobile Issue. "I'm kind of letting them know, yes, it is ridiculous, but it's all fun."
The reality star, who says she took her first selfie in 1984, admits, "I take it more as a fun, emotional scrapbook that I love to look back on."
While the brunette bombshell has more than 27 million Instagram followers, she insists that it was never her intention to brand herself as a celebrity on social media.
"I don't think of this as a planned-out thing. It just kind of happened," she tells the mag. "Social media plays a huge role in my life and my career. I came at the right time when people just started to get into reality shows. Social media works when you're open, when you're honest and people want to feel like they're getting a little glimpse into your life. It's not that I brand myself like I'm a celebrity. It's just I'm living my life and sharing a part of my life with the world."
Another way Kim shares parts of her life is through her reality show. So, what does Mrs. Kanye West want fans to know about her famous family?
"I hope they get out of it that we are a normal family," she reveals. "They may not think we're normal, [but] we are a family like everyone else's that goes through so many different things and we're always there to support each other. There's always a family member that someone can relate to…We still have a few more years left in us."
Whether you like it or not, the Kardashians are here to stay!
