The actress shows off her incredible post-baby body on the April cover of Women's Health magazine, where she opens up about her baby girl, Esmeralda, and shares some of her diet and mental health secrets.
Just six months ago, the brunette beauty and boyfriend Ryan Gosling welcomed their first child together ... and while she's dealing with the normal struggles of raising a newborn, Mendes says she's enjoying every second of it.
"I'm actually enjoying the sleepless nights because it's bonding with my little girl," she tells the mag.
But don't ask the "Hitch" star for parenting advice, she's still trying to figure it all out herself!
"I don't feel like I've really earned the right [to dish parenting advice]," she admits. "I want to respect all the moms out there. They're going to be like, 'You know what? You're a few months in. Just shut up.'"
The 41-year-old also reveals how she's bounced right back into shape since giving birth.
"I realized a long time ago that I needed to have some kind of routine," she says of her fitness regime. "I don't love it, but I've made peace with that."
Eva likewise dabbles a little in weight training, "nothing too heavy, because my muscle bulks up pretty easily. I mix it up with yoga, or sometimes I'll hike with my trainer," she explains.
The "Place Beyond the Pines" actress is also a firm believer in working on your mental health -- which is why she sees a therapist regularly.
"Having [a therapist] who's totally objective and who points out my patterns— I find that really helpful," she confesses. "And I'm lucky to work with someone who doesn't just sit there and nod her head, you know? I need to hear what you think! Tell me what's wrong with me so I can fix it!"
