Sia's "Elastic Heart" music video, featuring a half-naked Shia LaBeouf and "Dance Moms" alum Maddie Ziegler, is still making headlines.
In the video, the two have a dance battle inside a giant cage, with an underwear-clad LaBeouf putting his contemporary moves on display, as 12-year-old Ziegler dancing around him.
toofab's Candice Brock caught up with "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller at the Nickelodeon's 28th Annual Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday to get her take on the controversial video and to find out what it was really like to be on set with the actor.
"I love controversy. It's artistic and it pushes the envelope," she told us of the video. "I have my theory of what the piece is about, Maddie has what she was directed to do and Sia has her own personal story -- it's what you make of it."
While some critics have said that the relationship between Shia and Maddie was inappropriate in the clip, Abby says the "Fury" star was anything but.
"Shia was absolutely superb to all of us," she revealed. "I don't know if you know this ... he feeds the homeless every Sunday evening. So, he took Maddie and the girls with him and he taught them all about the homeless kids."
"Maddie was a little afraid and uneasy before ... and now she's wonderful," she added. "She realizes that they should be afraid of us, not the other way around. There are so many children. I think 9 is the average age of a homeless child in Los Angeles."
We love that Abby revealed something about Shia's softer side -- what do you think of her story? Sound off below.
