Last night, 20 seconds of footage brought the Internet to a standstill.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder debuted a very brief sneak peek at the upcoming film, showing nothing but the title characters' two costumes.
While the Man of Steel's suit looks just like it did in the 2013 Henry Cavill film, we get a better look at the Dark Knight's new ensemble -- which is definitely made out of a different material than it was in Christopher Nolan's trilogy.
The quick teaser is just a setup for the first official trailer, which will debut on IMAX screens throughout the country on Monday, April 20. It's expected to then play before all showings of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," opening May 1.
Fingers crossed that the full trailer drops online after the IMAX debut on Monday -- because we can't wait to see more of this one!
Ben Affleck steps into Batman's cowl this go around, with Gal Gadot joining him as Wonder Woman. Jason Momoa is also expected to make a cameo in the film as Aquaman (check out his costume here).
